The La Trobe University Hockey Club is excited to announce that two of its 2011 State League coaches and premiership players have been selected in the Over 35’s and the Over 45’s Masters teams.
Three time Best & Fairest winner Greg Van Meeuwen (pictured bottom left) and Senior State Leauge Coach Matthew Trounce (pictured top left) were both successful last week in being selected for Australia.
Van Meeuwen will be representing Australia as part of the Over 45’s Australian hockey team at the World Masters Games in Canterbury, England in August 2012 after the Olympics.
Trounce will be part of an invitational Over 35’s team to play in either Fiji or New Zealand next year.
