The La Trobe University Hockey Club Men’s 3s played in the Pennant E North West Grand Final on the weekend, and beat Werribee 3-1 to win the flag.
After a strong season losing only one game, the boys were favourites coming into finals. They comfortably knocked over St Bernard’s in the first round, going straight through to the big one. After a tough battle against a strong Werribee side, in hail conditions, the Gunners walked away with the flag.
Morgan Jenkins scored two goals and Arwin Kahlon scored the other.
